Killings occur despite partial pause in attacks following U.S. pressure on Israel.
On Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces killed two Palestinians as they tried to collect food at humanitarian aid distribution points set up in Gaza.

Local health authorities did not specify the circumstances of their deaths. However, since these distribution sites were established, many Palestinians seeking assistance have been targeted by Israeli army bombings or gunfire.
The two Palestinians were killed at the U.S.-based Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) distribution points known as SDS2, located in Rafah in the southernmost part of Gaza, and SDS4, located in central Gaza beneath the Netzarim corridor that separates it from Gaza City.
Israel reduced its attacks in Gaza after U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday urged it to halt its offensive following Hamas’ announcement that it would sit down to negotiate the U.S. plan to end the war. The next day, the Israeli government confirmed that its army was pausing “certain attacks” in Gaza.
Killings, however, have not ceased—only decreased. Israeli occupation forces killed 63 Palestinians on Saturday, 19 on Monday, and eight on Tuesday.
At the end of May, after two months of a complete blockade on food entering Gaza, the Zionist state allowed an aid distribution system at points established by the GHF. Since then, Israeli occupation forces have killed 2,600 people collecting food at those locations, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
International humanitarian organizations and Palestinian authorities have denounced that the Israeli army frequently opens fire on crowds approaching to collect aid.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, made up of U.S. mercenaries and financed through opaque means, operates under Israel’s instruction. The Zionist state distrusts UN aid distribution, claiming without evidence that Hamas keeps part of the food.
Previously, the United Nations maintained a distribution system across hundreds of sites in Gaza. Now, food enters only through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation or in trucks from humanitarian organizations that Israel allows to pass.
The humanitarian aid that does manage to reach Gaza remains insufficient to feed the population of the enclave, whose northern area is already experiencing famine conditions.
